A way forward.
Before you
own a car.
A job to get to. A class that could change things. An appointment you shouldn't have to miss. Life keeps moving, even when buying a car isn't possible yet.
We want to build a bridge: affordable rides along the way, support for the next chapter, and a path toward the freedom of owning your own vehicle.

Concept illustration. Grace Auto does not currently operate an autonomous ride service.
When the answer to a car purchase is “not yet,” we want there to be another answer to “How will I get there tomorrow?”
Keep life moving.
Build toward something of your own.
Our proposed program would connect people who cannot currently qualify for a vehicle purchase with lower-cost transportation and support to strengthen their financial footing.
Start with your situation.
We envision an application process for people facing barriers to car ownership. The goal would be to understand your transportation needs and whether the program could help.
Plan the rides that matter.
Scheduled pickups near your home would help you get to work, appointments and other regular destinations. You'd plan around your life, with fewer hurdles between your front door and your next stop.
Request a ride when plans change.
When a vehicle is available, an on-demand option would let you request an additional ride. Scheduled service would provide the foundation; flexible rides would add support when capacity allows.
Give your budget some breathing room.
We want rides to cost substantially less than typical ride-hailing trips, so getting where you need to go leaves more room for the other things that matter. Final pricing still needs to be developed.
Work toward the next chapter.
During a proposed one- to two-year program, we'd help connect you with credit education and support to address the obstacles standing between you and a vehicle purchase.
Move toward your own keys.
When you're ready and qualify, our team could help you explore a vehicle of your own. The aim is growing independence, with financing decisions based on your circumstances at that time.
The ride is the beginning.
Your future is the point.
Imagine having a dependable way to reach the opportunities you're working so hard for—and people beside you as you work toward your own car. That is the future we want to help make possible.
An ambitious idea.
A thoughtful path to launch.
Our current plan centers on purchasing approximately $2 million in Tesla vehicles when suitable autonomous vehicles become available for independent fleet use and can operate appropriately in our service area.
Vehicle availability is one part of the work ahead. We would also need to establish operating approvals, insurance, funding, service coverage, accessibility arrangements and trusted support partners.
This is an independent Grace Auto concept, not a Tesla partnership or an announced launch. No date, fleet purchase, ride price or program eligibility criteria have been finalized.
A better way to get there
could go a long way.
We hope to start with a program that helps people in our community, learn from their experience, and show what dependable mobility can make possible.
If the model proves useful and sustainable, we'd like to explore public and community funding to bring it to more areas. That is a long-term ambition; government participation or funding is not secured.
Questions about the future program.
Can I apply or book a ride now?
Not yet. We are developing the concept and inviting conversations with potential collaborators. We are not accepting participant applications or ride bookings at this stage.
Would everyone who is declined for a car qualify?
We want people who cannot currently qualify for a vehicle purchase to have an opportunity to be considered. Final eligibility, capacity, coverage and application criteria still need to be developed; a declined purchase would not automatically guarantee a place.
Would the program guarantee better credit or financing?
No. The goal is to provide education and support that help participants work toward stronger financial footing. Credit outcomes and future financing eligibility depend on individual circumstances and lender requirements.
How could I help bring this idea to life?
We'd welcome conversations with employers, community organizations, credit education providers, mobility and accessibility specialists, and potential funding partners. Early collaboration can help turn a hopeful idea into a practical program.
There may be a place
for you in this mission.
If you share this belief in mobility and opportunity, we'd love to hear what you could bring—experience, a partnership, a connection, or a question we should be asking.
